Insolvent Carriers

Pursuant to A.R.S. § 23-966, the Special Fund assumes liability for all workers’ compensation claims against insurance carriers that have become insolvent. These claims are assigned to the State Compensation Fund for processing. The Special Fund reimburses State Fund the cost of the claim, plus an additional administration fee.
