As a state agency, the Industrial Commission is required to comply with state personnel statutes and rules. To assist the agency in that function, the agency has a Human Resource Office which reviews personnel practices to ensure that the agency is in compliance with those statutes and rules. Above and beyond compliance of rules and policies, Human Resource personnel are committed to supporting management and employees in creating an environment that is positive and inviting to current employees and to potential candidates.
Mission: The Human Resource Office supports and advances the overall mission of the Agency by providing services that attract, retain, support and reward competent, efficient and dedicated staff who share a commitment to the core values of the Industrial Commission. The Human Resource Office strives to provide managers and employees with innovative solutions to organizational and human resource issues through leadership and guidance in the development, implementation and equitable administration of policies and procedures.
