Orion Godfrey

Orion J. Godfrey is a Surprise resident where he lives with his wife and two children. A fulltime firefighter since 2008, Orion currently serves as a captain/paramedic. Prior to his career in public safety, Orion served five years in the United States Marine Corps, where he rose to the rank of sergeant before being honorably discharged. 

Since joining the fire service, Orion has taken on the responsibilities of educating and advocating for firefighters with cancer throughout the state. In 2023, he was appointed as the Professional Fire Fighters of Arizona’s State Cancer Coordinator.
