Cranes & Derricks, Hexavalent Chromium, and Steel Erection
Summary of Applicable New Safety Standards. This July 6th, 2011 notice summarizes recent amendments to federal OSHA standards related to safety in the use of cranes and derricks, the requirement to notify employees of results obtained from monitoring workplace exposure to any level of hexavalent chromium, and steel erection.
Notice of Final Rulemaking. This notice explains the details of final rulemaking action affecting sections A.A.C. R20-5-601 and R20-5-602 as they relate to safety in cranes and derricks, the new hexavalent chromium exposure notification requirement, and steel erection.
